21 Day Challenge - Day 11

I"m Back!!!! I've been recuperating from surgery and out of action for a while. Now I'm back to continue my "21 Day Challenge". I did get some drawing done while healing, but wasn't up to scanning and posting. This little guy, Jake, is floating in the air.. not sure if I should have put some background in or if it works as a spot. I'm hoping to work on some of these and get some color involved. It's good to be back!

Meet Grandma Jane.. I think Grandpa(from Day 3) has an eye for her! I haven't drawn older people much. Good practice for me.

I was going to post this in IF, but I saw that someone else had an illo with the same kind of concept and hers is in color! Maybe I'll do something else to post in IF.

A boy and his dog. I'm starting to really LIKE drawing boys. I still want to get a little more action going, though.

Birthday girl... another girl. I am so DRAWN to drawing girls... hee hee! I will get back to the boys tomorrow.

21 Day Challenge - Day 6

I thought I would draw some boy faces. I always have such a hard time thinking of other hair styles for boys. Since my kids are grown I'm not around kids all of the time. I need to be on the lookout for different kinds of hair.

21 Day Challenge - Day 5

RATS! I missed a day--was in a workshop all day yesterday. This little guy is having fun with good old roller skating. Although, here in Texas it is sooooo hot.. don't see many kids outside playing during the day. It's 102 degrees today!
