My daughter took me on a trip to New York City and this was our tour guide. I tried drawing from memory.. which I am SORELY in need of practice. I really wished I had a photo of him. He was a great tour guide.. BUT our tour bus broke down and our tour was cancelled.. Blah.. not so good. We had a great time though -- my first trip to NYC... thanks to my wonderful daughter!

SkADaMo - Day 3 & 4

Quick sketches of my two granddaughters, Mia and Scarlett. Looks like I may be Sketch A Every two days!! But I'm sketching and posting! It's great to be sketching again on a regular basis, so even if I don't make it every day.. I feel I'm on the right track.

Yikes! Such a long time since I've posted!! I'm joined in on the fun of Linda Silvestri's SkADaMo .. doing a sketch a day during the month of Nov. Cole had a secret.. he could fly with the help of balloons. Where will he go? What will he see? Adventures lay beyond his little street. This is my submission for IF.. haven't participated in a loooong time. I'm working on the painting now and hopefully will be finished before Friday! Happy Illustrating!
